This was mostly a fun, quick project.

The vest and pumpkin shorts were made from plaid linen. The shorts were hand drafted and include, two pockets, working fly, and elastic trim around the leg holes. There's a large buttonhole on the back for the tail belt to slide through.

I modified a child's vest pattern for the top portion. All the trim is velvet and includes two welted pockets and functioning buttons. There's also a hook and eye attached near the top to keep the tail in place.

Both the tail and ears were made from foam and interfacing covered in fleece and velvet. The ears attach to the hat while the tail is on a belt that runs under the costume.

Shirt was bought and dyed.
