Utena Tenjo
Revolutionary Girl Utena
Jacket and shorts were hand patterned from scratch. Both black and white fabrics are stretch suiting. Jacket is fully lined and welt pockets are functional. Jacket closes right over left as she is known for wearing the male uniform. All red trim was sewn on.
Shorts are lined and have an invisible zipper up the side.
Shoulder pieces/epaulettes are cut plastic Christmas ornaments. The insides were coated in spray glitter, then painted red. Trim was glued and a foam based was added to the underneath to attach via velcro to the shoulders. Cord also detaches from broach for easy cleaning/transportation. Flower is pinned.
Base shoes were bought and hand painted with leather paint.
Wig was originally two separate wigs. Once was de-wefted and attached to make the other much fuller.
Sword pieces were made by Azure Props. I only assembled and painted it.
